The system harnesses the earth’s relatively stable underground temperature through heat exchange, providing centralized heating and cooling for the entire community. During its operation last year, it successfully reduced electricity consumption by 60,000 kilowatt-hours per month.
When applied to cooling water (heat pump) units, maglev technology uses magnetic force to suspend the bearings during operation, completely eliminating mechanical friction. This allows for high-speed, stable operation—typically reaching 30,000 rpm—and significantly improves energy efficiency.
